Recording and Uploading videos to Icareus cloud
Recording or uploading the videos you can select the "Upload" feature from the menu:
When uploading or recording the video, the application asks users to give rights for the usage of phone / tablet features. Read more about from separate article.
After giving the rights, admin can start recording and/or uploading videos to Icareus cloud.
After that you can see Upload screen:
The features are:
- Select videofile (upload existing video or record a new video)
- Name (text)
- Description (text)
- Select categories
- Visibility (Public or private)
When you push "Select video files" the application allows you to select, if you upload existing video or record a new video:
If you select the video camera, then it opens the recording view:
You can start recording by pushing the circle button (the button turns Red):
To stop the recording, push the Red circle and it will take you back to upload view, now showing the thumbnail image of the video:
Optionally you can just select the other video from your phone /tablet, then you can just select the video:
After that add Title, description and select categories and visibility:
And push "Upload".
It will take you to upload confirmation screen:
Uploading is done on backgroud, so then you can:
- Close that screen and e.g. browse your videos or
- Upload another video
Later on you can select Upload list with status from "Uploads" in main menu:
From where you can see the uploads under process:
