Asset Permissions & User Roles

Admin users can set permissions on the visibility and administration of the assets. These permissions can be in the form of individual access or also access based on various teams.

User types and their roles

There are basically 3 types of users who can access the management UI:

Account Admin

These are the users who have complete access to the content and its management on the account. Account admins can see all assets, modify or remove them and set permissions for other users. They also have complete access to the user lists and the ability to modify user related information, modify teams and manage other content on the account if applicable.

Account User

These are the users who have complete access to 1) their own assets (i.e. assets created by them) and 2) Any other assets that Account Admin users have given them access to. Once they have access they can manage and modify those assets.
Account users cannot see or modify Studio projects that do not belong to them.

Viewer

These are users who have read-only access to assets they have been given permission for. They cannot add new assets or modify any assets.
