Introduction to Players

Icareus Suite offers various video players that can be used and embedded on 3rd party websites. Standard players are based on JWPlayer and Icareus can provide other and customised players as need arises.

The player url is specific for each customer and can be customised per request using http query parameters as described below.

Players are used to play video or video events on websites. With Player Management, it's possible for a customer to configure the features and look&feel of the player based on the company brand.

Currently Icareus Suite OVTP platform provides customer configuration option for following players:

  • Webinar Player: for Webcasting and Webinar events
  • Live Player: for livestreams and channels
  • VOD Player: for on-demand video content

Notice: Other video players can also be configured, but it must be done by Icareus support.
