Introduction
Effects can be added to change how the original video or audio element on your timeline appears, without changing the actual file or element. They can be accessed by first selecting the element to be affected, and then the Add Effects button.
This opens the Video Effects menu, from which the actual effects can be selected.
Brightness

Supported media elements
Video
Brightness changes the brightness level of the video element on timeline.
It is added by pressing the Select button under Brightness in the Video Effects menu.
In the modal you can make the video brighter or darker, by adjusting the brightness level with the selector.
Color Overlay

Video
Color Overlay tints the video element on timeline with the selected color.
It is added by pressing the Select button under Color Overlay in the Video Effects menu.
In the modal you can select the background color to be applied to the video.

Fade In

Supported Media Elements
Video
Fade In is an effect that is used at the beginning of a video to fade in from black to the actual video.
It is added by pressing the Select button under Fade In in the Video Effects menu.
In the modal you can define the duration of the Fade In effect.
Fade Out

Fade Out is an effect that is used at the end of a video to fade out to black from the actual video.
It is added by pressing the Select button under Fade Out in the Video Effects menu.
In the modal you can define the duration of the Fade Out effect.
Change Volume
Change Volume enables you to change the volume of the video or audio element on timeline.
It is added by pressing
Change Volume button.
In the modal you can change the dB Level of your video's audio or an separate audio element on timeline.
