Admin Dashboard Overview

Admin Dashboard Overview

Introduction

This article gives an overview of the main sections in the admin dashboard and explains what each section is used for.

The dashboard may include different sections depending on your admin role and the service setup. In many cases, admins manage only their own organization, club, or team. Some services also include a separate Platform area for superadmins who manage settings, subscriptions, and reports across the whole streaming platform.

Organization dashboard

The organization dashboard is used by regular admins to manage the content and settings for their own organization, such as a club, team, federation, venue, or streaming partner.

Depending on the service setup and admin permissions, the organization dashboard may include sections such as:
  1. Games
  2. Streaming Admins
  3. Camera Providers
  4. Subscriptions & Passes
  5. Vouchers
  6. Settings
  7. Reports & Insights

Games

The Games section is used to manage game content and streams. Admins can view live, upcoming, and played games, create new games, and open game details to manage stream information, recordings, images, sharing, and reporting.

The Games section includes:
  1. Live: View games that are currently being streamed.
  2. Upcoming Games: View scheduled games that have not started yet.
  3. Played Games: View completed games and access recordings, reports, and post-game tools.
  4. Create Game: Create a new game, such as a practice game, series game, or tournament game.

Streaming Admins

The Streaming Admins section is used to manage admin users who have access to streaming-related tools and organization-level game management.

The Streaming Admins section includes:
  1. All Admins: View and search existing streaming admins. Admins can also open the actions menu to copy a user ID, edit admin details, change a password, or delete an admin.
  2. Add Admin: Create a new streaming admin by entering the admin’s first name, last name, email address, and password.

Camera Providers

The Camera Providers section is used to manage connected sports camera provider integrations for the organization.

The Camera Providers section includes:
  1. All Providers: View and search connected camera providers, such as Spiideo, and review provider-related integration details. This page also includes the Update all automatic games action, which refreshes or updates automatically created games from connected camera provider systems.

Subscriptions & Passes

The Subscriptions & Passes section is used to manage packages that can give users access to games, streams, or other paid content.

The Subscriptions & Passes section includes:

All Packages: View and search existing packages, filter packages by type, check package status and pricing, create new packages, and manage packages through actions such as copying the package ID, editing, assigning the package to a user, or deleting the package. More info here: Giving an End User Access to a Package as an Admin

Vouchers

The Vouchers section is used to redeem voucher codes for users.

The Vouchers section includes:
  1. Redeem Voucher: Check a voucher code, verify the end user’s account, and activate the voucher so the related package, subscription, or pass is added to the user. More info here: Redeeming a Voucher for an End User as an Admin

Settings

The Settings section is used to manage general organization or service-specific settings for the admin account.

The Settings section includes:
  1. General: View and update general configuration details, such as payment-related identifiers, external service IDs, club or team information, public profile text, and other settings specific to the sports streaming service.

Reports & Insights

The Reports & Insights section is used to review viewing performance and sales data for the organization’s streamed games and content.

The Reports & Insights section includes:
  1. Overview: View general performance metrics, such as impressions, plays, engagement, average engagement, date-based comparisons, today’s events, and more detailed viewing analytics through the Views tab.
  2. Sales: Review gross sales from streamed games, including revenue breakdowns, sold items, package sales, ticket sales, date range filtering, and exportable sales reports.

Platform dashboard

Some sports streaming services include a separate Platform area in the admin dashboard.

The Platform area is intended for superadmins who manage the whole sports streaming service across multiple clubs, teams, federations, or other organizations. This section may not be visible for regular admins, or in services that are operated by only one organization.

The Platform section includes:
  1. Subscriptions & Passes: Manage platform-wide packages and passes. Superadmins can view, search, create, edit, assign, or delete packages that may apply across the whole streaming service.
  2. Settings: Manage platform-wide settings, such as selecting which subscription packages or season passes include future games, and adding a site-wide alert message for all users.
  3. Reports: Review platform-wide sales reporting, including revenue breakdowns, sold items, package sales, ticket sales, transaction trends, club-level sales data, date range filtering, and exportable reports.
