assetId

subtitles
No
If provided, any subtitle title matching the provided parameter will be displayed by default. For instance, if the subtitle title is "Finnish" and you wish to show this subtitle as default, you can pass the parameter as "fi" or "Finnish".

Setting Default Subtitles

You can use the "subtitles" parameter to specify the default subtitles for your content. It's important to give each subtitle file a unique name to avoid confusion. If multiple subtitle files have the same name and are included in the parameter, the system will choose the first encountered file as the default.

For example, if you have two subtitle files named:
  1. demo-subtitle-file-eng
  2. demo-subtitle-file-finnish

To set the first subtitle file as the default, you can use any of the following:
  1. eng
  2. file-eng
  3. subtitle-file-eng
  4. demo-subtitle-file-eng

To set the second subtitle file as the default, you can use any of the following:
  1. fin
  2. finnish
  3. subtitle-file-fin
  4. demo-subtitle-file-finnish

If the "subtitles" parameter is not explicitly provided and default subtitles are enabled for the organization, the system will automatically activate the first available subtitle or the default subtitle set for the organization.

Audio Embedding & Parameters

(Same as with video)

If an asset only has an audio preset, it will automatically display an audio player instead of a video player. If the audio player is not displayed, verify if the preset has been set up correctly from admin panel(https://my3.icareus.com). Below is an example of a valid asset with just audio preset from admin panel.

If a player ID is specified, the background image will be sourced from the player's background image configuration. If no player ID is provided, the background image will be obtained from the default player, if available.

In cases where the player's background image is not provided or does not exist, the system will use the fallback option of using the asset's thumbnail. If neither the player's background image nor the asset's thumbnail is available, an audio player without a thumbnail will be displayed.

NOTE: IF you don't pass any player ID , default playerId will be taken from system. All configs are taken either from passed player ID or default player ID

An organization is assigned only one default player and is used both by audio and video player. If the settings shown in the player are different, check the default player and change the configuration
