Introduction
DVB-TA (Targeted Advertising) is the specification by DVB Project that defines a technical framework to offer dynamic ad substitution on broadcast networks.
It is possible to add input ports for both, NICs and ASI inputs for monitoring incoming SCTE-35 messages from incoming transport stream.
If Playout server doesn't have a Dektec ASI card, the ASI input source type is disabled.

After pressing a "Add Workflow Input Port" plus-icon, this window is opened:
Here you have to give an SCTE-35 PID that should be ingested from the incoming TS. Also An UDP port number and a multicast address that is used by the source, that we are listening must be configured.
Output settings
A service id of service that contains wanted applications (streams) run by Icareus Playout server must be typed. All applications that should utilize the given SCTE-35 PID under given service can be selected from "Applications" drop-down menu.
Finally after pressing "OK" -button,
an added input port should be listed in "Current Workflows" list on the page view.
It is possible to edit and delete the input port settings afterwards
It is important to remember, that if firewall rules are used in the server, the used port must be enabled through firewall.
It is also good to check, that NICs used in the server fully supports a multicast filtering.
