Admin Dashboard: Subscriptions & Passes

Introduction

This article explains how the Subscriptions & Passes section of the admin dashboard works and what admins can do with packages.

Packages are used to give users access to selected games, streams, or recordings. A package can be created as a season pass, subscription, or another available package type depending on the service setup. After a package has been created, it can be added to games when creating or editing them, assigned directly to users, or used as part of voucher-based access.

All Packages

In the admin dashboard, go to Subscriptions & Passes and open All Packages.

The All Packages page shows the packages available for the organization.

Admins can use this page to:
  1. View existing packages
  2. Search packages by name
  3. Filter packages by package type
  4. Check package price, tax rate, status, and purchase availability dates
  5. Create new packages
  6. Use package actions, such as edit, assign, copy ID, or delete

Package Status

On the package list, each package is shown as Active or Inactive.

The status is based on the current date and the package’s purchase availability dates:
  1. Active: The current date is between the package’s Start date to buy package and Last date to buy package.
  2. Inactive: The current date is before the start date or after the last date to buy the package.

This status indicates whether the package is currently available for purchase.

Package actions

Each package row includes an actions menu.

Depending on permissions and service setup, available actions include:
  1. Copy ID: Copies the package ID to the clipboard.
  2. Edit: Opens the package for editing.
  3. Assign Package: Gives the package directly to a selected user.
  4. Delete: Deletes the package.

Creating or editing a package

Click Create package to create a new package.

To edit an existing package, open the package actions menu and select Edit.

The create and edit views use the same main package fields.

Select the package type

On the Create package page, select the package type from the dropdown.

Available package types are:
  1. Season passes
  2. Subscriptions

The selected package type affects how access works:
  1. Season passes give access for a defined validity period after purchase.
  2. Subscriptions charge users repeatedly based on the selected subscription period, as long as the subscription remains active and payments are successful.

Enter the package details

Fill in the basic package information.

The package form includes:
  1. Name: The name of the package shown to users.
  2. Description: A description of what the package includes.
  3. Validity Period After Purchase or Subscription period: Defines how long access remains valid, or how often the user is charged.
  4. Start date to buy package: The first date and time when users can buy the package.
  5. Last date to buy package: The final date and time when users can buy the package.
  6. Currency: The currency used for the package price.
  7. Price inc VAT: The package price including VAT.

Add games to the package

Packages can include selected games. Users who buy the package get access to the games included in it.

Click Add games to package to choose games.

An Add games panel opens on the right side of the page. From this panel, admins can select games to include in the package.

The panel includes:
  1. Select all: Selects all currently listed games.
  2. Game list: Select individual games using the checkboxes.
  3. Game status filter: Filter the list, available filters are: All games, live, upcoming games, past games.
  4. Load more: Load additional games if more are available.
  5. Save: Save the selected games to the package.
After saving, the selected games appear in the package’s game list.

You can remove games from the package by clicking the delete icon next to it on the game list.

Finish creating the package

After entering the package details and adding the correct games, click Create package.

The new package can now be found in the package list.

Assigning a package to a user

Admins can also give a package directly to a user from the package actions menu by selecting Assign Package.

This is useful when access needs to be granted manually without requiring the user to purchase the package.

Platform-wide package settings

Some services include a Platform area for superadmins. The Platform area has its own Subscriptions & Passes section, where all packages across the platform can be viewed and managed.

Superadmins can also define platform-wide package behavior from Platform > Settings > General.

These settings can be used to automatically include games in selected packages:
  1. Subscription package for future games: Automatically adds future games from every club to the selected subscription package.
Season pass for current and future games: Adds current and future games from every club to the selected season pass.
This is only available in services with a Platform area and superadmin-level settings. Regular organization admins may not see these options.

Troubleshooting

The package is shown as inactive

Check the Start date to buy package and Last date to buy package values.

A package is active only when the current date is within the purchase availability period.

No games are shown when adding games

Check the selected game filter in the Add games panel. Use Load more if more games are available.

The wrong game was added to the package

Remove the game from the package using the delete icon in the selected games table, then add the correct game.

Users cannot buy the package

Check that the package is active and that the current date is within the purchase availability period.

Also check that the price, currency, and tax settings are correct.

A package does not appear when creating or editing a game

Make sure the package has been created successfully and that it matches the access type or service setup required for the game.
