Video-On-Demand Analytics

Introduction

In contrast to the analytics of live streams and events, real-time is not as important in the analytics of streaming or on-demand videos.

It can be used in OVP, OTT and Event uses cases, but also with HbbTV and Smart TV environments when following the number of TV viewers.

Streaming analytics show all videos watched in the desired time interval:.

You can search per user if you are a system administrator or for your own videos if you are a normal admin user.
The analytics landing page tells at the desired time and/or from the desired user/everyone:

1. Video page/player downloads
   
2. Playbacks of videos
   
3. Total time watched videos
   
4. Average video viewing time
   
5. Created videos
   
6. Published videos
   
7. Graphics: Video playback times
   
8. Graphics: Development of video page/player downloads
   
9. Graphics: Minutes viewed
   
10. Listing: Latest videos
    
11. Listing: Most popular videos
    

Video view

When you select a specific video, you can see even more detailed information about the individual video:

In addition to the previous information, you can also learn from the video page:

1. Number of unique viewers
   
2. play-rate, i.e. how much it really interested.
   
3. Total video viewing time (h)
   
4. Average video viewing time / engagement (min)
   
5. Length of viewing time (100%)
