Projects
Introduction
Icareus Studio can be found from the main menu as "Studio". Clicking it will open the 'Your projects' page:
Here you can manage and create Studio projects.
In the top-right corner of the page, you’ll find three buttons:
- Theme switch – Choose the interface color scheme (Light or Dark) for Icareus Studio
- Legacy Studio – Open the previous version of the Icareus Studio application
- Create project – Create a new Studio project
Below these buttons, the page displays all Icareus Studio projects in your account in a grid view.
Legacy Studio projects do not appear in the Icareus Studio project list. They are only shown in the Legacy Studio project list, which you can access by opening Legacy Studio.
Creating a project
Let's create a project. Click 'Create project'. This will open a modal:
Enter a name for your project. When you export it, the video file will use the same name.
The default aspect ratio is 16:9. You can change it from the dropdown now or later in the project editor.
Click 'Create project'.
The new project appears at the top-left corner of the grid, as the most recently created or edited project is shown first.
Project overview
New projects use a default thumbnail (see image below). When you save the project, Studio generates a new thumbnail based on the topmost video on the timeline.
Below the thumbnail, you can see:
- Project name
- Creation date
- Number of exported renders
- Last edited by (user)
- Last edited (time ago)
To delete a project, open the menu in the bottom-right corner and click Delete.
Opening a project
Click a project to open it in the Studio editor. The editor opens in a new browser tab.
