EMAIL

FEATURES

Setting's Email Management feature is for the account administrator to configure the automatic emails sent by the Icareus Suite for your account users and subscribers.

1.
SETTING UP THE EMAIL ADDRESS

On the first sheet you can define the email address that is used for sending the notification emails. It can be e.g. "no-reply@yourcompanyname.com", "registrations@yourcompanyname.com" etc.

The email address is set-up on the page below:

You can just change the default email address and push 'Save' -button.

If you are using your own domain then you need to also add Icareus servers to your domain's SPF settings. If you do not do this then all emails from icareus.com servers will be blocked by majority of email services. You need to contact who ever controls your domain DNS setting and ask them to add ip's 34.255.36.88, 18.202.76.151 and 34.241.68.112 to SPF line. That line pretty much have to exist in domain DNS setting all ready, so most likely just need to add string "ip4:52.50.233.153 ip4:54.228.183.69 ip4:52.50.138.93" to that setting. They should not add new line.

2.
SETTING UP THE REGISTRATION EMAIL TEXT

This email is sent when subscribers or users registers to Icareus Suite service.

The configuration of the email message is done on the page below:

Email editor provides multiple different tools to edit the text as well as look & feel of the email.

Notice that there are some auto-text fields that are used by default and can be used by the administrator. Those are:

FieldDescription
[$FROM_ADDRESS$]
The email address that is set on the first page, e.g. 'info@icareus.com'
[$FROM_NAME$]
Your organization name, e.g. 'Icareus'
[$PORTAL_URL$]
Cloud service, e.g. suite.icareus.com
[$TO_ADDRESS$]
The email address of the email recipient
[$TO_NAME$]
The name of the email recipient
[$USER_ID$]
The user ID
[$USER_PASSWORD$]

After the email is written, you can just push the 'Save' button.
